We collect only the minimal amount of information needed for Nativik to function safely and effectively.
Information provided by parents during account setup:
- Parent’s email address (for account management and communication)
- Child’s first name and year of birth (to personalize the learning experience)
Automatically collected data:
- Device information (e.g., model, operating system, language)
- App usage statistics (e.g., time spent, lessons completed)
- Anonymous analytics data from Firebase, Appsflyer, and Amplitude
Voice input:
- The app uses the microphone for pronunciation and speech-recognition features.
- Voice data is processed in real time to enable interaction but is not recorded, stored, or shared.
We do not collect:
- Photos or videos of your child
- Location data
- Chat messages or any user-generated content
3. Why We Collect This Information
We collect data only for specific, legitimate purposes:
- To create and manage accounts (using the parent’s email).
- To personalize learning (using the child’s name and age).
- To improve app performance and experience (using analytics data).
- To send service-related messages (e.g., confirmations or account notices).
We never sell or rent personal data.
We do not use data for advertising or marketing directed at children.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Under GDPR, we process personal data based on:
- Parental consent: Parents provide explicit consent when creating a child’s account.
- Legitimate interest: To operate and maintain a safe, effective learning app.
Under COPPA, we collect limited personal data only from parents and only after parental consent.
5. How and Where Data Is Stored
Personal data is stored securely on trusted cloud platforms, including:
- Firebase (for authentication and data storage)
- SendGrid (for email delivery)
- Appsflyer and Amplitude (for analytics and performance tracking)
These providers use industry-standard encryption and comply with privacy regulations.
6. Cookies and Analytics SDKs
Nativik does not use cookies inside the mobile app.
However, we use trusted analytics SDKs to help us understand usage patterns and improve the learning experience:
- Firebase Analytics
- Appsflyer
- Amplitude
All analytics data is anonymized and used for app improvement only — never for personalized ads or marketing.
7. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We share data only with carefully selected third-party providers who help us operate the App.
These include:
- Firebase Auth (Google) — user authentication and data storage
- SendGrid — sending account-related emails
- Appsflyer — measuring app performance
- Amplitude — understanding user engagement
- Adapty — managing subscriptions and payments
All third parties comply with GDPR and COPPA standards and act as data processors under agreements that ensure your data is handled securely and lawfully.
We do not share personal data with advertisers, social networks, or any unrelated entities.
8. International Transfers of Data
Some of our service providers (such as Firebase and SendGrid) may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States.
In such cases, we rely on standard contractual clauses and data protection safeguards approved by the European Commission to ensure your data remains secure and compliant.

You, as the parent or guardian, have full control over your and your child’s personal data.
You have the right to:

- Secure authentication systems (Firebase).
- Regular monitoring for unauthorized access or data breaches.
